Pearl 2020

This white wine is made with 50% Chardonnay & 50% Aligote grapes, which are sourced Negoce from Burgundy, in the Macon. The wine is a direct press white, aged half in stainless steel and half in old oak barrels. No added sulphites.This white wine tastes very creamy with great acidity, amazing value.

About the Winemaker

Natural wine producer Gr��goire and Judi Perron based in AIN, France started La Combe aux R��ves after they found a small parcel of Poulsard... with 100+ year old vines! With other vines of theirs featuring Pinot Noir, Ploussard, Mondeuse, Gamay, Savagnin, Roussette de Savoie as well as a few ancestral and hybrid grapes, the age of the vines is important here as they give more complexity to the wines, but provide less yield. Some of the other vines were planted over 80 years ago but the two also buy Jacqu��res and Chasselas grapes from the nearby Savoie region ( for example in "Jack Erres Dans Les Abimes" or "La Fl?te Agit��e") and Chardonnay and Aligot�� from Burgundy (in the wine "Pearl"). There are no added sulpur in these vibrant and expressive wines.

US Natural Wine ships once a week, every Wednesday. All orders should be placed by Tuesday at 10am in order to be picked up from our distributors and out on Wednesday's delivery truck. Shipping cost is 30 bucks a box?(up to 12 bottles) so we highly encourage picking up more than 1 bottle for the best value!
